Audition Help: Reader and Coach
I'd love to help with your audition! I'm available to work over Zoom or in person in the Fairfield and Westchester County areas.
Need a place to film? I have a self tape setup available to use!
If you'd like to workshop your scene, I'd love to help coach you through it. Working together is a great resource for actors who are auditioning for on camera work, want to explore how to best use the frame, or break down scenes and characters. Perfect for commercial auditions too - let's brainstorm those funny improv beats together!
Coaching can also be extremely helpful for adults and students auditioning for community theater, school plays, or training programs. Working with me can also include refining scenes in a show you've already been cast in and are in rehearsals for, acting the song for those in musical theater, or working on material like monologues or scenes to stay sharp.

A graduate of the Steinhardt School of Media, Culture, and Education at NYU, Julia is a professional working actor and can be seen on TV (Hulu, ID: Investigation Discovery) and in many commercials. She is also a writer and producer and her films have been screened and nominated for awards in various film festivals including Mystic Film Festival, Cutting Room Film Festival, and The Newark Film Festival, among others. Julia has been teaching performing arts locally for over ten years. In addition to working in local middle schools (Saxe in New Canaan, Coleytown in Westport, Central in Greenwich), she has taught acting and dance in various studios throughout Fairfield and Westchester County. Performers she has trained have worked in national tours, film, and television.
